After working together for more than 10 years, Ecova and Marriott have renewed their agreement for utility expense and data management and related energy services. As part of the extension, Ecova will help Marriott monitor and understand its energy use at more than 700 hotels throughout the U.S. and Canada. The agreement covers all hotels managed by Marriott International, including Ritz Carlton and Gaylord.
Since 2001, Ecova has worked with Marriott to better understand its energy consumption and spending and provide actionable insights for energy efficiency across its hotels. Through its utility expense and data management services, Ecova has helped Marriot optimize the receipt, audit, payment and reporting of thousands of utility invoices each month. Ecova identifies and corrects utility billing errors, drastically reduces late fees and aggregates cost and consumption data across the Marriott portfolio.
