Regulatory Update

Michigan is one of many states considering legislative action toward commercial and industrial energy benchmarking requirements. The state has already mandated energy requirements for public buildings, benchmarking energy use, and the use of energy savings performance contracts in state buildings through its Public Act 295 and Executive Directive 2007-22.
