Jamie Daubenspeck is Ecova’s expert of anything relating to “the Internet of Things” – including meter interval data, trend and telemetry data, and big data and advanced analytics. He is also the product manager over Ecova’s continuous monitoring and metering solutions and is an expert at integrating a variety of building monitoring systems so that data can be seamlessly collected on Ecova’s end. This data, from building automation and control systems and energy management systems, helps our commercial clients detect site-level issues before they become expensive problems. Prior to his current role, Jamie served as Ecova’s director of Information Technology.
Before joining Ecova, Jamie spent six years at Vestas, where he served as the IT director for all of North America. During this time Vestas was already on the cutting edge of streaming real time alarm and telemetry data – similar to today’s continuous monitoring services. Overall, Jamie has more than 15 years of experience in monitoring, telemetry data and advanced analytics.
Jamie graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in history and political science. He also taught as an adjunct professor at Clark College.

George’s business background includes 25 plus years in commercial facility and energy management with an emphasis on automation and controls. Prior to joining Ecova, George was President and Co-Founder of a leading independent Systems Integration Contracting firm where he was responsible for the company’s vision, sales and business development activities. George’s technical skills include a thorough knowledge of energy management systems, building controls and their application to efficient facility operations.
As Solutions Engineering Director for Ecova, George works in the Business Solutions Group with a focus on Facility Optimization. This market offering within Ecova leverages Benchmarking, Engineering, Controls and Continuous Monitoring and Management Services to drive energy and operational savings strategies for multi-site, multi-geographic clients.
George holds a BSME from North Carolina State University and is a professional engineer registered in the State of Florida. George has served on several client advisory and professional organization boards including Lonmark International and is a past chairman of Lonmark Americas.
Patrick Jones is Ecova’s expert on everything related to expense management and complex payables. As the Expense Management Product Management Director, he draws on more than 15 years of industry expertise, including vast experience implementing operational software tools and services across telecom, waste and utility spectrums.
Before transitioning into his current role, Patrick served as Director of Operations for Ecova’s telecom, vendor relations, utility open/close and waste solutions and functional teams.
Patrick graduated from Gonzaga with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management.

As Vice President, Sales & Client Management, Paige is responsible for the development of solutions for global companies that drive costs down while being environmentally responsible, specifically around sustainability and demand side management. Previously, as the Vice President, Resource Management Solutions, Paige oversaw four areas of Ecova’s consulting services: Lease Auditing, Advanced Analysis, Carbon & Sustainability and Expense Optimization. Working closely with the company’s Sales & Marketing divisions, she and her team worked to execute attractive solutions that help clients see more, save more and sustain more.
Paige joined Ecova in 2006 and just three years later, as Senior Director, Client Financial Planning and Analysis, she was managing financial services for over 400,000 sites across the country. Prior experience in the energy industry includes her time working for the Minister of Environment, Agriculture and Farming at the National Assembly for Wales, UK, on issues such as sustainability, wind farming and clean energy. Paige is involved in many community activities such as St. Joseph’s Orphanage Board of Advisors – Cincinnati, Women Helping Women – Finance and Internal Audit committees, Newport Ambassadors, and the Newport Recreation Commission.
Paige earned her MBA, Finance Concentration from Xavier University and a B.A. in both Human Resources and Strategic Management from Ohio University.

Jonathan Lee has been with Ecova since March 2009 as a member of the Energy Supply Management (ESM) Advanced Analytical and Reporting team. His expertise in market intelligence, customer reporting, and energy intelligence informs Ecova’s recommendations to ESM clients on energy procurement. He regularly provides his expert outlook in formats suited to our clients as they make procurement decisions, including Ecova’s Energy Price Hub, Energy Market Watch newsletter, quarterly Energy Market Outlook webinars, and the Energy Price Insider blog.
Jonathan has a strong background in finance, having worked for financial services companies, banks and options trading. His early focus was on the stock market but his knowledge translates well to the energy market.
He earned degrees in finance and marketing from Concordia University in Portland and can be found as a regular contributor to various natural gas industry polls and articles, including Reuters, Platts and Bloomberg.

Diane Levin is a seasoned executive with deep knowledge of the energy efficiency and energy management markets and oversees the design, launch and implementation of Ecova’s commercial and industrial programs for our utility clients. Diane’s adeptness at designing programs that combine natural business dynamics with energy efficiency has helped drive increased participation and customer satisfaction. She and her program team work closely with client managers and facility liaisons to develop leading-edge programs and successfully champion strategic energy management.
Diane has more than 15 years experience in energy efficiency programs—working with DSM programs for utilities and adoption of energy management initiatives by national accounts—and and an additional 10 years working with businesses. Prior to Ecova, she founded Catalyst Associates LLC, an energy management consulting firm. Before Catalyst, Diane served as executive vice president at PECI, developing and managing programs that realized sustained energy savings. During her tenure there and in previous organizations, she consistently grew segments of service and product companies from $1 million to $10 million over a 4-year period.
Diane says her greatest passion is creating strong energy and environmental businesses that create a sustainable future. She earned her BS in Economics from Duke University and her MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Brooke Mittermann has designed and led strategic programs for Ecova’s large, multi-site commercial clients since 2012, developing holistic resource reduction projects to drive consumption and cost savings across a client’s portfolio. Brooke and her team of experts partner with clients across the country to identify and prioritize opportunities in the areas of energy, water, waste, carbon and supply chain, and implement operational and equipment efficiency measures. The team’s consultative approach ensures that solutions align with the client’s specific business goals. Brooke is also a member of Ecova’s Product Management team, focused on driving Ecova’s Water Management and Facility Optimization market offerings.
Prior to joining Ecova, Brooke founded a boutique consulting firm in Portland, OR with a simple mission: to give small business a sustainable advantage. Partnering with local and national businesses, Brooke provided strategic consulting; life cycle assessment research and reporting; and marketing, branding, and PR support for sustainable brands. In her early career, prior to pursuing an MBA, Brooke designed circuit boards for color laser printers at Xerox. With a foot in engineering and a foot in sustainable business, Brooke has honed her ability to translate between engineering, marketing, sales, and finance, and explain complex concepts to everyone from senior executives to site-level staff.
Brooke is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). She holds an MBA in sustainable business practices from the University of Oregon and graduated Cum Laude with an Honor’s Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Oregon State University.
